Lauren is where the vision of Skin Avenue began. She has over 8 years of experience working as a Cosmetic Nurse, ensuring a natural and undetectable result for every client.

Lauren opened holistic skin clinic ‘Skin Avenue’ in November 2020 and since then has created a team of skin-loving professionals to perform advanced treatments such as: Morpheus8, laser genesis, IPL, clinical facials, permanent fat reduction and cosmetic medicine.

When Lauren is not working her craft at the clinic, she can be found spending time with her two English Staffy babies, Rex and Charlie.

Lauren is renown for her knowledge and advanced skill-set within the aesthetics industry. She is a highly sought after Cosmetic Nurse, often booked out for months in advance.

Julia is one of our Cosmetic Nurses at Skin Avenue, always offering a warm and welcoming experience for all of her clients.

Julia always gives her honest expert advise during every consultation and she explains everything very thoroughly. She has a gentle approach, ensuring her clients are always comfortable during their procedures.

Something that is so amazing about Julia is that she can juggle so many different roles. When she is not working at Skin Avenue, she can be found working in the Emergency Department where she is faced with all kinds of challenges. She is also a super talented Makeup Artist! On top of these 3 jobs, we think Julia could also make an amazing event manager as she is always planning our next team event.

Outside of work, Julia is a fur-mum of an adorable Spanish Water Dog named Lola and cat Khaleesi.

With Julia’s extensive experience working within one of the busiest Emergency Departments in Melbourne and having been a Cosmetic Nurse for over 3 years, you know that you are in the safest hands when being treated by her.

Cosmetic Nurse, Lauri, focuses on patient safety as her absolute first priority above anything else. She applies her extensive knowledge on anatomy with every injection to ensure the safest outcome.

Lauri has worked within the beauty industry for over 9 years, 4 of those years being a Cosmetic Nurse. She has an aesthetic eye and attention to detail which allows her to successfully enhance the natural beauty of every patient that she treats.

Outside of work, Lauri loves to stay active by taking her Golden Retriever, Kyah, on long walks and attending regular Pilates classes. You will often hear her complain about how sore different parts of her body are!

Lauri also loves discussing all things beauty with her clients and has a passion for skincare in particular. 

Lauren has been part of the Skin Avenue team since June 2023 and since then has blown us away with her wealth of knowledge in dermal therapy and modalities. 

Lauren prides herself on keeping up to date with the latest trends and techniques to deliver the best possible outcomes for her clients. She has an extensive background within the beauty and skin space, and to top that off, she is a qualified Registered Nurse. 

Prior to joining us at Skin Avenue, Lauren was originally living in Canberra and was working as a Dermal Nurse within a fast-paced clinic there. She is now enjoying the Melbourne lifestyle with her partner, Nathan and her bunny, Pierre. 

A fun fact about Lauren is that she can fluently play the flute and piano!

Julia is your go-to for all things skin related. She can confidently help anyone wanting to better understand and improve the health of their skin.

She loves sharing her expert knowledge on what in-clinic treatments would be right for her clients and how they should be caring for their skin at home.

Julia has completed her Bachelor in Dermal Science, which has deepened her knowledge of holistic skin health. Julia is always researching ways to deepen her skill-set to deliver the best service and outcome possible.

Outside of work, Julia loves immersing herself into the drama of ‘The Real Housewives’ franchises. 

One of the main things that Julia loves about her role as a Dermal Clinician is that she is able to connect with people. She feels so lucky that she can play a small role in helping people feel their best self.
